Why Kiwanis Sprayground in Dunedin is Awesome!

This interactive children’s water playground is open daily and filled with several water features to “beat the summer heat.” The 3,000 sqft play area features colorful, action-packed features that spray, gush, dump and pour water from a variety of whimsical devices. Kids can dodge a crocodile that shoots water out of its mouth; slide down the pirate ship, circle the tumble buckets, and dance in and out of the flower water showers cascading through the sprayground. 

The sprayground is ADA accessible, has a non-slip surface, no standing water and includes a fully automatic system of spray and streaming water features with a re-circulating water system. The deck perimeter has shade structures and spectator benches. The facility also has a lightning detection system with automatic water shut off and security cameras.

Rules for Highlander Park and Kiwanis Sprayground. Children who are not potty trained must wear swim diaper and plastic pants.

Rentals

Pavilion Rentals
Parties and groups are welcome to visit the Sprayground but must rent a pavilion. Pavilion rentals do not provide you with exclusive use of the park or its amenities.

Pavilions are available in 2-hour time blocks:
9-11:30 am, 12-2:30 pm, 3-5:30 pm.

Small Pavilion (up to 20 people): $45 resident; $55 non-resident
Large Pavilion (up to 30 people): $55 resident; $65 non-resident

For more then 30 people, both pavilions must be rented. Fee are per time block. Electricity is available upon request for an additional $25.
